In Taiwan, Fei Yu-ching’s Goodnight Song is as synonymous with bedtime as Happy Birthday is with celebrations in the West, or Mariah Carey is with Christmas, so it's a bit of an anomaly to hear it associated with a morning meal.
However, for Ogilvy Taiwan's new spot for McDonald's breakfast menu, Goodnight, See You for Breakfast, an evening dreaming of early-morning treats is par for the course.
Directed by Gavin Yin through Blue Moon Films, the film's cheery surreality and mixed-media approach gives the charming message an ethereal feel that lulls you into a hungry slumber.
