Vehicle brand Volvo has unveiled this touching first episode of its documentary series, The Family Car: An American Love Story, created by Amazon Advertising and directed by Chris Wilcha.
The touching first instalment follows photographer Gus Powell’s Family Car Trouble project, documenting his children’s growth alongside his father’s slow decline, all anchored by the car that’s carried them throughout.
Through Igor Martinović’s cinematic vision, the series explores the bond between people, their families and their Volvos, redefining what the value of a family car means.
