The brilliant Jackie Oudney has joined the Hotspur & Argyle directors roster.

Regarded as Britain’s pre eminent director of children, Jackie’s work is infused with exceptional warmth and humanity and her commercials have won numerous awards including a Silver Lion at Cannes, a silver D&AD pencil, several BTAA arrows and a gold Promax Europe award.

Her first feature ‘French Film’, a very grown-up British comedy starring Hugh Bonneville, Eric Cantona and Anne-Marie Duff was enthusiastically received, picking up two major awards at the Monte-Carlo Film Festival for Best Actor and Best Screenplay. In addition, her two short films ‘Vagabond Shoes’ with its powerful performance by Iain Glen and ‘Station’ have won a clutch of awards including the Kodak / BAFTA Short Film Showcase and two BAFTA nominations.

Jackie brings a deft touch for performance and comedy plus a highly developed visual sensibility to Hotspur & Argyle. We are thrilled to welcome her to the fold.
