Toronto-based production company Sons and Daughters and bi-coastal production company Sleeper Films have reached a deal to represent some of each other’s directorial talent.
Sleeper Films has added Sons and Daughters directors David Hicks and Mark Zibert to their roster and Sons and Daughters has added Sleeper’s Peter Martin to theirs.

David Hick’s is a former award-winning editor, and one of the founders of Panic and Bob editorial in Toronto, who launched his directorial career in 2004. This year his Diet 7up campaign was honored with a Silver Lion in Cannes as well as two gold as a Best in Show at the 2008 Bessies.
Mark Zibert’s background is in photography, which he continues to pursue. His Adidas campaign for the 2008 Beijing Olympics won China its first and only Gold Lion for print. As a director, he won a Bronze Lion in 2008 for the Workplace Safety PSA “Nail” and won the New Director award at the 2008 Bessies.
Peter Martin is the combined creative talents of Peter Livolsi and Martin Dix. Peter Livolsi is a graduate of the American Film Institute's directing program and Martin Dix is an award winning writer and creative director who has worked at agencies both here and in his native Australia. Peter Martinulls work as been recognized by the One Show, the London International Advertising Awards, Ad Week's Best Spots, and Shoot's New Directors Showcase. In addition, Peter's short film "Duncan Removed" was nominated for a Student Academy Award, won a Student Emmy, and was an official selection at the Tribeca Film Festival. Peter Martin are currently in production on a spot for The Getty.
