2025 AMP Awards for Music & Sound releases shortlist and announces curatorial committee
The Crystal Creative tops shortlist with four entries, followed by Wieden+Kennedy and Supreme Music with three, as the competition readies for Its May 21st event in New York City.
The AMP Awards for Music & Sound, sponsored by the Association of Music Producers, has announced its Shortlist for the 2025 competition and saluted the work of its Curatorial Committee as it gears up for its 12th awards presentation, set for May 21st at Sony Hall in New York City.
Leading the Shortlist this year is The Crystal Creative, which earned four Shortlisted entries, including its NFL Football Country 2024/Kickoff spot for the NFL in the Outstanding Adaptation/Arrangement category, and their trailers for the films Mickey 17 and Anora, as well as season two of Severance, all in the Best Use of Music in a Promo, Trailer, Title Sequence for Film, TV or Game category.
Agency Wieden+Kennedy and music house Supreme Music both earned three Shortlisted entries: W+K earned two nominations for its Nike work in the categories of Best Sound Design and Most Effective Use of Music in a Campaign, and one for Netflix in the Best Use of Music in a Promo, Trailer, Title Sequence for Film, TV or Game category. Supreme Music earned nominations in the categories of Best Sound Design for Pepsi-Cola, Most Innovative Process & Execution for Pedigree, and Outstanding Adaptation/Arrangement for the European supermarket chain, Penny.
A number of companies earned two Shortlisted entries, including Beeker, Human, Q Department, Radish Music, Round Hill Music, Squeak E. Clean Studios, The Elements Music, tiny lion, Wave Studios, and Woolly Music.

About The Curatorial Committee
The AMP Awards Curatorial Committee met virtually to review the results of the first round of judging, conducted by members of the Association of Music Producers, and to verify each category’s winner. Led by Showchair Damien Ecsobar, Global Chief Music Officer, Havas, the curatorial committee is the final arbiter of the AMP Awards winners. The committee also chooses the competition’s coveted Ryan Barkan Best in Show winner, selected from the category winners.
