Developed by creative agency Meanwhile and directed by MindsEye duo Baby, this clever short film takes us on Endless Adventures through the top attractions of the UK’s Chester Zoo.
Designed to loop seamlessly and also work as a standalone 30-second spot, the film uses cutting-edge Gaussian Splat technology to scan environments in 3D, resulting in a dynamic and immersive showcase of the all the zoo has to offer.
Baby commented; “We wanted to explore the Zoo in a whole new way, and capture the experiences in a winding one shot that seamlessly travels through different enclosures. Gaussian Splats are an incredible way to produce near perfect digital twins of a location. We captured footage of each location, and fed it through some nifty software that essentially paints a 3D world based on the footage provided, giving us an amazing sandbox to play in.”
