This quirky campaign for Allianz, created by Ogilvy France, Eddy and Bold director Kate McMullen, reminds us that the bank’s name starts with an A and ends with a Z, and that they’ve got a branch in nearly every French town.
Using a place-name inspired visual alphabet, the film starts in Argenteuil, near Paris, and ends in Zoufftgen, on the border with Luxembourg, taking in a variety of interesting locations such as Xonrupt-Longemer, near Basel in Switzerland.
Working with her regular collaborator DP Ahmet Hüsseyin, McMullen traveled the length and breadth of France, sampling the regional gastronomy and shooting the most interesting places that ticked the alphabetic boxes.
