DOMA has announced the signing of Filippo Patelli, an Italian-born editor whose work blends the sharpness of commercial storytelling with the emotional depth of documentary and narrative filmmaking.

With a portfolio that includes projects for brands such as Versace, Prada, Zegna and Nike, Patelli brings a distinctively instinctive style to the DOMA roster.

Patelli’s editorial voice is rooted in intuition and rhythm. He describes his process as freeform, shaping initial drafts through instinct, before refining with his collaborators.

“I enjoy blurring the lines between genres,” he says. “My goal is always to craft something unexpected. Something that pushes against the conventions usually associated with each format.”

Originally from a small town in Italy, Patelli built his career outside the traditional pathways, editing for some of the world’s most recognisable fashion and luxury brands. He credits his journey with teaching him the importance of choosing work that resonates personally and valuing each finished project as a creative milestone.

Jake Evans, co-founder of DOMA, says: “I was drawn to Filippo’s work because it felt distinctly DOMA. He has a clear voice and mark that is so hard to find in editorial. He’s a pure filmmaker, using dynamic techniques that feels completely his own, and I could see instantly how naturally he would fit within our growing team.”

He joins DOMA’s expanding roster of editors and colourists, which includes recent 2025 Creative Circle winner Amanda Marie Rose, Thomas Kumeling and Matthew Chan (fmlik), as the company continues to develop its talent-first approach to post.
