Electric Theatre Collective’s colour team has announced a hat-trick of senior promotions with Luke Morrison [above centre], Jason Wallis [above right] and Connor Coolbear [above left] stepping into new roles as Director of Colour, Creative Director and Head of Colour, respectively.

The new structure reflects the substantial growth seen by the department, which has quadrupled in size in recent years and boasts talent across Electric’s London and New York studios.

Formerly Head of Colour, Morrison steps into his new role as Director of Colour with a vision to redefine the creative and cultural presence of the department on a global stage. Steering the team’s long-term direction, ETC says he’ll focus on strengthening relationships whilst reaching new markets, with a commitment to elevating the department’s profile in long-form storytelling as the team continues to shape ambitious projects across film, television and beyond.

Newly appointed Creative Director Wallis will ensure ETC's work continues to push boundaries and explore new creative depths while keeping colour integral to the studio’s holistic visual output. As the new Head of Colour, Coolbear will guide the team’s culture and workflow while championing the next generation of talent. His leadership, says ETC, will not only safeguard the department’s creative excellence but also push it forward, ensuring the company stays at the forefront of evolving trends and innovations in colour.

“We’re constantly raising the bar in colour grading, supporting a remarkable range of projects and collaborating with incredible talent," said ETC's Head of Colour Production, Olly Whitworth. "Building on our strong commercial foundation, and with exciting growth across the US and in long-form, we’ve expanded our leadership team to match our global ambitions.”

“These promotions are testament to the incredible grading talent we have within Electric," adds CEO Jon Purton. "This structure allows us to continue to build and evolve the team without compromising what has been the bedrock of our success to date: creative excellence.”
