Most workplaces have an individual or two whose work ethic could be described as 'minimum effort', but it's unlikely you'll find a colleague as infuriatingly unhelpful as the subject of Bullion director John Merizalde's latest short, I'm Good.
Based on Herman Melville's renowned short story, Bartleby, the Scrivener (a fact neatly referenced in the character's name), the film, produced through Florence, sees an agency's creative department sent into confused chaos by the unapologetic reluctance of its latest member.
Wittily directed and performed, with a delicate sense of pacing that leads to its devastating punchline, this neat piece of narrative is more than just good.
