After an extraordinary 34 years at the legendary production company,  including 22 years as Managing Director, Kai Hsiung has announced her retirement from RSA Films.

Josie Juneau will assume the role of Managing Director of RSA UK upon Hsiung's departure in spring 2026, following a two-year tenure as RSA’s Head of Advertising. Before joining RSA, Juneau spent eight years as a Partner at Rattling Stick, where she helped shape some of the most acclaimed work in the industry. RSA’s US office remains under the leadership of Luke Ricci, who has served as President since 2021.

To ensure a seamless transition, Hsiung will continue working closely with the senior leadership team, supporting clients, staff, and directors as Juneau prepares to step into the position.

Over her 22 years as MD, Hsiung has overseen thousands of productions, leaving behind a legacy of boundary-pushing, genre-defining work. In 2025, she was honoured with the British Arrows Fellowship, recognising a career dedicated to nurturing excellence in production.

Having risen through the ranks, from Receptionist to Production Assistant, Producer, Executive Producer, and ultimately Managing Director, Hsiung embodies the spirit of production meritocracy. A pioneer of branded entertainment, her work consistently broke new ground, collecting top industry honours while staying true to RSA’s enduring commitment to exceptional storytelling.

"Kai has been an exemplary ambassador to the RSA brand and has overseen continued success from the early 2000s to today. It has been difficult for the Scott family to accept the end of her brilliant tenure, but Kai has done so with her characteristic reassurance and elegance and has found a worthy and natural successor in Josie Juneau.

In the meantime, I look forward to working with Josie in the coming months as we chart the future. We all wish Kai the very best and much love for her future, and the absolute appreciation for what she has imprinted on RSA and of course her massive contribution to the industry." adds Luke Scott, CEO, Ridley Scott Creative Group.

Stepping up as Managing Director, RSA UK, Juneau will lead alongside her US counterpart Ricci, under the global leadership of CEO Scott. With a career spanning agency and production roles at Lowe, Ogilvy, AMV BBDO, and 180 Amsterdam, Juneau brings a rare combination of creative insight and production expertise.

As RSA continues to deliver culturally transformative work across every medium, Juneau’s appointment marks an exciting new chapter in the company’s enduring story of creative excellence.
