Laura Ricketts promoted to EP at Freefolk
In this new role, Ricketts will continue to work alongside Head of Production Cheryl Payne.
Freefolk announce Laura Ricketts [Pictured left] has been promoted to the role of EP, signalling significant growth and development within their commercials division.
Ricketts has been part of the Freefolk team for seven years and, in this new role, will continue to work alongside Head of Production Cheryl Payne, building on the company’s long standing reputation in the world of VFX for advertising, music video and short form projects.
With a strong technical understanding and a real commitment to pushing Freefolk’s creative boundaries on every project, Laura has produced VFX for brands such as Virgin Media, Sky, Lego, Specsavers and ITV, alongside directors including Chris Balmond, Henry Mason, Bethan Seller and Biceps.
Ricketts on what she will bring to this new role, “Being an EP, it’s all about seeing the bigger picture, connecting creative vision with the practical steps needed to get there and nurturing lasting relationships with clients and our team.
“I will build on Freefolk's outstanding 23 year reputation, continue to foster a creative and supportive environment, and bring in new, exciting projects so we can continue to build on our slate of cutting edge and high-end VFX work.
