Though he might have started his career in the country-flavoured Old Town Road, flamboyant star Lil Nas X has been forthrightly advocating queer visibility in his music videos ever since.
Usually filling the screen with blockbusting VFX, the star has embraced minimalism (in production design, at least) for his latest offering, HOTBOX; with Durable Goods director Elias Talbot utilising bold pink hues to pop from the pure white background.
Presenting a dreamlike quality through its series of vignettes, this cheeky and assured celebration of queerness makes for one of Nas' most charming promos to date.
