What’s the best music video you’ve seen recently and why?

The music video that has really caught my attention lately is Doechii - Denial Is A River.

At first, it feels like you’re stepping into a 1990s sitcom, but then it completely flips the script with a stunning cinematic twist. That contrast makes it so unique and engaging.

What’s the first music video you remember being impressed by?

Massive Attack - Teardrop. The simplicity of an unborn baby singing is still one of the most haunting and hypnotic visuals I’ve ever seen. It gave me chills then, and it still does now.

And what’s your all-time favourite music video?

I’m not sure if it’s my absolute favourite, but as a nostalgic millennial, Alanis Morissette - Ironic is always a must-watch. It’s one of those classics that instantly takes me back to my comfort zone.

What other directors/artists do you look to for inspiration?

I’m always inspired by Alauda Ruiz de Azúa and Rodrigo Sorogoyen. The way they direct actors and build stories is just incredible.

What are you listening to at the moment?

Lately, I’ve had La Gent Que Estimo by Oques Grasses & Rita Payés on repeat. But I always find my way back to my punk rock phase. It never really goes away.

What’s your favourite bit of tech, whether for professional or personal use?

Definitely my AirPods. Both for work and everyday life. And honestly, as a mom, noise cancellation is a lifesaver.

What artist(s) would you most like to work with and why?

I’d love to work with Paco Amoroso and Ca7riel, they have such a fresh, rebellious energy that makes everything they do feel exciting and unpredictable. Plus, from an advertising perspective, they don’t just create content. They create cultural moments.

How do you feel the promo industry has changed since you started in it?

There’s a much bigger focus on digital-first content now. Music videos aren’t just standalone pieces anymore. They come with TikTok snippets, behind-the-scenes reels, and interactive elements. Storytelling has adapted to shorter attention spans, but it’s also opened up a lot of new creative possibilities.

Where do you see the music video industry being in five years’ time?

AI and virtual production will definitely play a huge role, but I really hope we don’t lose that raw, human touch. I think we’ll see more hybrid formats. Videos that mix real footage with AI effects, or interactive experiences where fans can tweak different aspects of the visuals.

Tell us one thing about yourself that most people don’t know…

I once appeared in a music video.
