The worlds of art and sport don't often collide, but if it were always as elegantly done as Quentin Deronzier's film for France Télévisions, we'd be up for having the World Cup in the Louvre...

Created to promote the channel's Winter Olympics coverage, the film, produced by LA\PAC and crafted by VFX house Mathematic Studio, is a stunning rendition of snow sculptures paying tribute to Italy’s great artistic icons - Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, Botticelli - with skiers, shooters and snowboarders tearing up the slopes.

“The Italian Alps are right next door to where I grew up," notes Deronzier. "Having been surrounded by winter sports since childhood, I’ve always seen the mountains as an endless playground. That’s exactly what I wanted to capture in this film.”
