Senior Mixer/Sound Designer John Bolen and Executive Producer Lauren Cascio join the team.
Racket Club is amplifying its presence in Los Angeles with the addition of Senior Mixer/Sound Designer John Bolen and Executive Producer Lauren Cascio.
Longtime collaborators with over two decades of creative partnership, Bolen and Cascio bring a dynamic blend of artistry, precision, and trusted client relationships that will resonate not only in LA but also across Racket Club’s New York and Atlanta studios.
Over the past 20 years, Bolen and Cascio have built a reputation as one of the industry’s most reliable creative duos. Bolen has mixed some of the most memorable campaigns for leading agencies and brands, while Cascio has guided countless projects with her calm, organised approach and instinct for problem solving under pressure. Together, they’ve honed a process defined by trust, adaptability, and a shared commitment to elevating every project they touch.
For Bolen, that philosophy is rooted in advice he received nearly 30 years ago, “Everyday you sit down in the chair, act like someone could tap you on the shoulder and tell you to get up and that you don’t know what you're doing.” Bolen adds “That has stuck with me ever since. Don’t rest. Don’t think you can’t learn something new. Don’t be an asshole.” It’s a mantra that has fuelled his craft across everything from documentary work to large scale commercial campaigns.
Cascio, meanwhile, approaches producing like a game of Tetris, fitting the moving parts together until everything clicks. Known for building genuine client relationships and creating supportive environments for mixers and creatives alike, she balances precision with a laid back ease that keeps teams both focused and inspired. Beyond the studio, she brings the energy of a Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach, a testament to her drive and dedication.
