SMUGGLER has signed acclaimed Argentinian directing trio PANTERA - Pato Martinez, Brian Kazez, and Francisco Canton, for representation in the US and UK.

Known for their confident approach and distinctive craftsmanship, they bring a cinematic style that balances raw energy with quiet intimacy, blending striking visuals, thoughtful sound design, and nuanced performances.

Their ability to combine technical precision with bold ideas has led to collaborations with brands including Nike, Mercedes-Benz, Visa, Jordan, and Nikon. Their Renault campaign Historias Argentinas won Gold at CICLOPE, while Valet Guys for Mercedes-Benz showcased their high-octane comedic storytelling. Their work for UNHCR, The Journey, took a striking yet understated approach to the story of a refugee Olympic athlete, while Blowfish for Mercedes-Benz delivered a surreal, elegantly crafted narrative.

Beyond commercial work, PANTERA has also made a significant impact in the fashion industry, directing campaigns for Jacquemus, Zalando, and Adidas. Their distinctive vision has earned recognition from Cannes Lions, The One Show, and CICLOPE, alongside UK Music Video Award nominations and Vimeo Staff Picks. Their films Nada de Todo Esto and Loose Fish were featured at the Cannes Film Festival, TIFF, and BFI London.

“PANTERA’s films are deeply human, always infused with a touch of levity and charm. Their work reminds us that commercials can be elegant, original, and fun when brave ambition meets flawless execution,” says Patrick Milling Smith, co-founder and CEO of SMUGGLER.

The trio expresses their excitement about the new partnership: “Filmmaking is a collective craft, and finding the right group of people makes all the difference. We couldn’t be more excited to join the SMUGGLER family and look forward to creating A-level work together.”

With their distinctive voice and award-winning approach, PANTERA’s addition to SMUGGLER reinforces the company’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of commercial filmmaking.
