Alternative British rock band The Last Dinner Part have unveiled this touching black-and-white music video, directed by Fiona Jane Burgess of SMUGGLER, for their new track The Scythe.
Set against the picturesque British countryside, the contemplative film follows an elderly man’s quiet drive that turns into an adventure when he picks up a female companion, and together they share a day of quiet romance and reverie.
Whether she's a friend, a lover or a figment of his imagination, the ambiguity heightens the film’s poignancy. With no dialogue or backstory, Burgess invites us to share in the fleeting intimacy of their day together.
