Created for Uber Eats by Special Group US, this next evolution of the ‘Get Almost, Almost Anything’ messaging retains the lols of the long-running platform, while pushing it into a new level of absurdity.
The series of films, directed by Nick Ball of MJZ, transforms everyday items from the Uber Eats’ app into imaginative different scenarios.
Passion Fruit is a tender meet cute between a couple clad in banana and grape costumes, it’s nice twerk if you can get it for a mariner with moves in Pirate’s Booty, cowboys overdo the mirth in Jolly Ranchers, and, shots favourite, a normally hot Latin dance gets a docile, decidedly de-sexed flavour in Mild Salsa. Shout out to casting for a great selection of seriously deadpan onlookers in the dance hall.
