Creative studio Absolute announce the appointment of Dan Lorenzini as its new Head of 2D. 

With over two decades of experience, Lorenzini joins to lead the studio’s expanding 2D department, marking the latest in a series of strategic hires as Absolute continues its upward trajectory.

Having launched his career in 1999, Lorenzini has held key creative leadership roles at leading VFX studios across the US, UK and Australia. Over the last twelve years, he has worked at both MPC and The Mill, co-leading the latter’s 2D department since 2022.

His portfolio boasts standout campaigns for global brands including Apple, Samsung, O2, Erstebank, Qatar Airways, and Amstel, along with British Arrows and Clio Sports award-winning projects for CALM and Riyadh Season. Lorenzini has collaborated with celebrated directors such as Sacred Egg, Rich Hall, Gary Freedman, Henry Scholfield, Ulf Johansson, Dorian & Daniel, and Alex Boutell.
