Stockholm-based director and photographer Arthur Couvat joins production company Slutet är Nära for representation in Scandinavia. He recently completed his first production with the company for Gant.

Couvat’s path into advertising began in 2018, when he joined Wieden+Kennedy in Amsterdam at the age of 21. He was hired as an editor, but quickly expanded his role to directing, shooting, and shaping much of the agency’s social media output. Since then, he has worked internationally with brands such as Ami Paris, Spotify, Nike, Zalando, Adidas, and more.

"I was convinced Arthur was based abroad when I first discovered him online, and was genuinely surprised to learn he lived just minutes from our office. Arthur is a perfect fit for Slutet, both as a person and as a director, something that was clear from our very first project together" says Alexandros Bakos, Executive Producer and founder of Slutet är Nära.

Couvat’s first project with Slutet är Nära is the campaign The Perfect Summer Getaway for Gant, which recently premiered. The production was produced by Gant and Sara Boork in collaboration with Slutet är Nära, and was filmed in Cannes in early May. It features actors and creatives including Damian Hardung, Ben Radcliffe, Lamia Lagha, Paul Samb, Joanne Palmaro, Francisco Faria, and Albert Muzquiz.

"Living in Stockholm is a treat, a perfect place to reset after international productions and to stay close to nature. Being represented by Slutet feels natural, we share the same creative language and vision. I come from France and have mostly an international background, so I’m excited to explore new opportunities in the Swedish market" adds Arthur Couvat.
