Bring your daughter not to work day...
Erin Hills Golf Course, State of Wisconsin, and TDA Boulder debuts playful campaign Bring Your Daughter Not to Work Day, swapping spreadsheets for tee times because for kids the best part of work might be the elevator ride.
In a lighthearted rebellious twist on Take Your Child to Work Day, Erin Hills Golf Course and the state of Wisconsin are teaming up to declare May 30th as “National Bring Your Daughter Not to Work Day”, encouraging parents to ditch the desk and head for the greens, specifically to the 80th U.S. Women’s Open hosted for the first time ever at Erin Hills.
The playful new “holiday” is backed by a statewide proclamation from Lieutenant Governor Sara Rodriguez, who is all in on the idea, not just as an elected official, but as a working mom, wife, proud Wisconsinite, and golf fan herself.
Creative agency partner TDA Boulder is behind the video, print, and digital campaign getting the word out with the winking suggestion that unless your job involves world-class golf, your kid might prefer May 30 somewhere else.

“While we are advocates of Bring Your Child to Work Day,” said Jonathan Schoenberg, Co-Owner & Executive Creative Director at TDA Boulder, “it’s possibly just as inspirational and memorable for a young woman to get to see the greatest women golfers in the world compete at the Women’s U.S. Open. Many of our jobs are not quite as interesting to our children as we may think they are.”
Erin Hills, host of four previous USGA national championships (including the U.S. Open in 2017), is thrilled to welcome the U.S. Women’s Open to its historic course for the first time.
“This is about more than golf,” said Steve Pease, Marketing Manager & Media Relations at Erin Hills. “It’s about showing girls a future they might not have imagined. We're proud to be part of that and thrilled to make Erin Hills the site of such an inspiring new tradition.”
