When someone suggests a weekend break, what springs to mind? A trip to the seaside? Maybe a visit to a town with historical significance? Maybe even a quick jaunt abroad?

What if, though, you didn't just have to visit another place, but could drop in on another time?

That's the premise for Arts & Sciences London director Craig Ainsley's new short film, which sees a trio of women, the morning after the night before, slowly reveal to a pretending-to-be-asleep man, that things aren't exactly as they seem.

"I was thinking about time travel as a recreational pursuit," says Ainsley. "Not as a big ‘bells and whistles’ thing. No killing Hitler. Just travelling to the past for a weekend break. That led me to think about meeting someone in the past, and maybe the person you think you should truly be with existed years ago, before you were born. I love sci-fi and wanted to make something in that genre that was really grounded and colloquial.“
