Bronwen Parker-Rhodes reclaims female pleasure

Helmed by director Bronwen Parker-Rhodes, this honest and intimate film blends live action and animation to explore the visceral, euphoric and deeply personal sensations that accompany the female orgasm.  

Through traditional documentary interviews spliced with bold, illustrative imagery by animator Erica Russell, the project, titled Come, spotlights five women as they describe in beautiful metaphors the vast spectrum of unique sensations they experience when they climax.  

Visions of glow worms crawling across their skin, flowers blooming from every pore, a freefall off a cliff, buzzing teeth and blood pounding come to life through honest accounts from real women, as the film joyfully reclaims a topic that so often feels taboo, avoided and misrepresented.
