If you don't know CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, the genre-bending Argentine duo whose viral Tiny Desk performance lit up the internet back in October 2024, then you're about to be taken on a wild and wacky ride through chaotic beats, humour, and energy.
Designed as a follow-up to the viral success, Papota is a short film containing all of the tracks from titular EP, strung together with a bonkers story concerning the duo's entanglement with Gymbaland, a disturbing Svengali figure played with relish by renowned Argentine actor Martín Bossi.
Produced by Rebolución with director Martín Piroyansky, the film gives each track a unique chapter in the story, harnessing the innate likability of its leads and providing visuals as infectious as the tunes they accompany.
