Channel 4 has been British TV's punk rock station since its launch in 1982, and its ethos of championing the underdog has been exemplified ever since, not least in the inclusive Altogether Different messaging.

Continuing the campaign is another jaw-dropper from 4Creative, Sorry, Not Sorry, in which newsreader and journalist Phil Gayle delivers a po-faced address apologising for some of the more risqué moments caught on camera.

Playfully but pointedly addressing current views on DEI, the montage sees clips of shows like Naked Attraction and Late Night Lycett, as well as celebs including Munya Chawawa and Jordan Gray, interspersed with some delightfully chosen 'retro' rebuttles.
