Created by Springtime, the lively ad zips through a montage of scenarios in which various enthusiastic revellers are engaged in what could be construed as wasting time or opportunities.
The former Golden Balls legend, who has been involved in Pepsi marketing for two decades now, then chimes in with the maxim that “If you love it, it's never a waste” while glugging his favourite soda.
There will be a more UK-focussed version of the spot dropping 8 May, along with a series of activations in unexpected locations around the country, including the Thirsty For More Challenge, will see Pepsi MAX offering passers-by the chance to seize the moment and do something they really want to enjoy – but with a twist!
Beckham commented: “It’s always great working with Pepsi – we’ve been
making campaigns together for well over 20 years now and have produced a lot
of great work in that time. I enjoyed shooting this latest campaign and I’m
excited for what’s to come.”
