Carl Sagan once famously said "We are made of star-stuff" when talking about how every atom in our bodies was once part of a star, and how, when we die, those same atoms simply return to the universe to become something else. But who knew cars thought it too!?
In order to demonstrate its commitment to recycling, Volkswagen has joined forces with Derichebourg Environnement and DDB Paris to launch a campaign that makes the renewal process look fun and carefree... even for the thing being renewed!
Directed by Julien Beuvry through WAD (Quad Group), Car Paradise sees a tired old Golf 2 that's lost the will to drive find solace in its bits and bobs being stripped and crushed in order to find new life.
Backed by the endlessly upbeat Better Now by John Pickup, this phenomenally feel-good approach to a subject that could often feel serious or worthy is a true delight.
