Electric Theatre Collective promotes Oscar Wendt to EP
Wendt to continue producing award-winning work while expanding client relationships and team development.
Electric Theatre Collective has announced the promotion of Oscar Wendt to Executive Producer.
A long-time member of the team, Wendt has played a key role in the creative studio’s success over the past eight years, producing some of its most celebrated visual effects projects to date.
Recognised for his work on campaigns for brands including Coca-Cola, Nike, Meta and adidas, Wendt also produced John Lewis’ 2024 Christmas spot, an ambition fulfilled on his creative bucket list. Another major highlight is Apple’s Quiet The Noise, directed by Megaforce, which earned a Cannes Lion for VFX.
Having built trusted partnerships with leading directors such as Adam Berg, Rollo Jackson and Craig Gillespie, Wendt’s new role will focus on nurturing those relationships and expanding Electric’s reach across new markets. Alongside these duties, he’ll continue to produce standout VFX work and support the development of the production team.
"It's hard to think back to a time before Electric," said Wendt. "I’ve grown with the company: a proud witness each time we’ve raised the bar and produced groundbreaking work. The team is truly elite. I’m proud to be a part of it and to promote our talent to new audiences.”
Matt Williams, Head of Production, added: “Oscar has been a key part of the team since he joined us in 2017 and his production journey has been a treat to behold. His wisdom, energy and passion for all things Electric is contagious, and he’s a perfect candidate for the role. I’m excited to see where he takes it.”
