electriclime° has announced the exclusive signing of director Joe Connor to its roster, expanding its creative talent pool across the MENA and APAC regions. Renowned for his visually rich, emotionally resonant films, Connor brings a wealth of experience in commercials, music videos, and theatre to the studio.

Originally from the north of England, Connor is known for crafting work that is as cinematic as it is narratively powerful. His commercial credits include campaigns for global brands such as Land Rover, Louis Vuitton, Volvo, and Ariat, with on-screen appearances from talents including Emma Stone and BLACKPINK’s Lisa.

In the music world, Connor has directed iconic videos for some of the industry’s biggest names. He played a pivotal role in launching Harry Styles’ Grammy Award-winning album Harry’s House, and has also collaborated with artists including Sam Smith, The Rolling Stones, and Coldplay.

His work has earned recognition from some of the most prestigious awards bodies, with nominations at Cannes Lions, D&AD, British Arrows, 1.4 Awards, Creative Circle, and an impressive seven nominations at the UKMVAs.

In addition to his film and commercial work, Connor is the co-founder of experimental theatre company Parrot (in the) Tank. He has created performances for institutions such as the Institute of Contemporary Arts, The Roundhouse, Prague Scenofest, and The Arts Theatre, further cementing his reputation as a cross-disciplinary storyteller.

“There are a few exciting elements to this venture,” said Connor on joining electriclime°. “electriclime° is a dynamic, creative place with an aim to make striking art in the commercial space. Plus, my good friend and excellent director Emile Rafael is represented here, which tells me this is a place with great taste.”

The signing marks a strategic move for electriclime° as it continues to build a globally recognised roster of visionary filmmakers, committed to bold, artful storytelling across commercial formats.
