A new addition to the Good Behavior roster sees director Brandt Lewis join the company’s line-up of comedy filmmakers.

The Los Angeles outfit was founded last year by director Pete Marquis with partners Victoria Guenier and Adam Lawson, and was named a 2025 Ad Age A-List Production Company Standout.

Lewis began his career as an art director, holding roles at Deutsch, Crispin Porter + Bogusky, 72andSunny, and Wieden+Kennedy, before moving into commercial directing in 2018. At Crispin, he was among the creatives behind Burger King campaigns featuring the now-iconic miming Burger King in a plastic mask. Since then, he has directed spots for Arby’s, Tinder, Snickers, Skyscanner and Yumbos, combining brand experience with craft expertise.

"Brandt is doing the kind of work I love seeing out in the world. It’s damn funny. But when you drill down further — he’s playing each script to its maximum potential,” said Marquis. “Whatever story he’s telling, he’s pulling you into it in a way that feels so weird and off yet so real at the same time. He has such a clear understanding of what a concept or situation needs, and when to escalate or extend an awkward beat. And he’s casting actors and drawing out wonderfully underplayed performances that land perfectly. I’m over the moon excited to be on the same team as Brandt at Good Behavior. And he puts his napkin in his lap, which is a big thing for us."

"I’m really excited about how Good Behavior approaches both the work and their relationships,” said Lewis. “Since we’re all ex-agency, we get the real-world challenges agencies deal with—and as those challenges keep shifting, Good Behavior is shifting with them. It's built to be the kind of partner that thrives in this new landscape. At the heart of it all, we love great, idea-driven comedy—it’s what we do best, and Good Behavior is a super collaborative, really forward-thinking group that was built to bring those ideas to life–and I couldn't be happier to be a part of it."

"I am so excited that Brandt Lewis has joined our Good Behavior team,” said Guenier. “Brandt has directed many spots we are envious of and we can’t wait to see what he does here. Brandt and I go back to our days at Deutsch and it feels good to work together again."

Lewis grew up in Tucumcari, New Mexico, a Route 66 highway stop known for neon signage, motels and curio shops, which shaped his offbeat approach to storytelling. Early experiments in drawing and painting led him into advertising and eventually to directing. His strength lies in working with talent to capture comedic performances rooted in human truths.
