Directed by Tobias Paul, MD of Hamburg-based company Simon & Paul the film, Für dich [For you] is a call to action to consider who we should be striving to save the planet for – our children, grandchildren, and generations to come.
With cinematography by Franz Lustig (Perfect Days, The Aftermath), it juxtaposes gentle scenes of tender everyday moments with images of inflagration to deepen its impact and show that every effort to protect the rainforest is an act for someone who matters to us.
The director commented: “We are convinced that NGOs deserve images and stories as powerful as those of global brands. Greenpeace approached us with an initial concept, which we then developed further together and realised as a compelling spot – with the aim to move people emotionally and inspire action."
