Heather Link joins The Corner Shop
The Corner Shop welcome Link as Executive Producer of the UK office.
Heather Link will lead the The Corner Shop’s advertising output, bringing her wealth of relationships with agencies and brands to the table.
In her 25-year career, she worked in global marketing for HSBC and CNN, and more recently she co-founded and ran the award-winning Missing Link Films, where she built a reputation for championing new directing talent.
Link says: "The Corner Shop has a strong reputation, and I’m looking forward to building on their brand of filmmaking, which intersects craft and culture. For me, it’s all about strong collaborations, helping directors and agencies make work that genuinely cuts through, and most importantly makes an impact. I was lucky enough to work with Sara Dunlop, Peter Thwaites and Ellen Kuras during my client days, so this new chapter feels full circle to me. Anna and I clicked from the moment we met, and I’m thrilled to be working with the brilliant roster of talent that she’s brought together."
Anna Hashmi, Founder of The Corner Shop, says: "We are very lucky to have Heather join the shop. She shares our core values and is really invested in nurturing talent and pushing creative boundaries. As I focus on the US market and expanding our film and TV original content, Heather is perfect to helm our commercial division."
The Corner Shop was originally formed in Los Angeles in 2013 by Anna Hashmi and Peter Thwaites, opening the London office with partner, Sara Dunlop in 2021, when they produced their first TV commission, with the BAFTA winning digital series How To Be A Person.
Link will be instrumental in growing the UK team and further establishing The Corner Shop's reputation for innovative and impactful filmmaking. The team is thrilled to welcome her aboard.
