Mad Cow Films announce the signing of director Sune Lykke Albinus, whose emotionally rich and visually poetic work has made a lasting impression across both commercial and short-form storytelling.
Joining for UK representation, originally from Denmark Albinus now splits his time between Copenhagen and Brooklyn, bringing a cross-cultural sensitivity and depth to every project he touches. A graduate of Denmark’s prestigious film school SUPER16, he has worked with major international brands including Purina, Santander, Orsted, CPH Airport, and CHR Hansen, as well as purpose-led organisations like Human Rights Watch, Nilens Jord, and the Danish Children’s Home.
His films consistently strike a delicate balance, at once cinematic and grounded, intimate and expansive. Whether capturing subtle human interactions or sweeping emotional arcs, Albinus’ work is infused with warmth, connection, and a quiet but undeniable emotional punch. His campaign with Orsted promotes sustainable energy that effortlessly blends cinematic landscapes with natural performances
A thread of compassion and connection weaves its way throughout his work, as seen in his campaign with CHR Hansen that follows the highs, lows, joys, mess, exhaustion and magic of family life. His film celebrates the humanity and beauty of life’s everyday ordinary moments.
Beyond filmmaking, Albinus is also a passionate chef and the co-founder of a pop-up restaurant in Copenhagen. Whether in the kitchen or behind the camera, he brings the same care, curiosity, and commitment to authentic storytelling.
