Created by JM Films' Paul Akinrinlola and BLINKINK director Ng'endo Mukii for charity Malaria No More UK, this affecting film reenacts the experiences of children whose lives have been affected by the disease.
From a schoolgirl with big dreams to a child from a family fleeing conflict, the campaign interweaves the stories of several young people as their lives are brought to a halt when Malaria strikes. Their stories unfold alongside Mukii’s vibrant animations and narrated scenes featuring singer, actress, and activist Angélique Kidjo.
More than just raising awareness, the film offers a glimmer of hope, highlighting the work of Malaria No More and how simple tools like mosquito nets can empower children, to live happy, fulfilling lives.
