To coincide with the International Day of Non-Violence, which was yesterday [October 2] Médecins du Monde unveiled its new campaign which highlights how armed conflicts are blocking humanitarian aid from reaching those most in need.
Called Help Needs Help and set within an ambulance which has been attacked, the 85-second spot is a striking piece of created by La Despensa Buenos Aires and directed by Felipe Gómez Aparicio through Rebolucion Madrid.
With the charity quotes statistics including the fact that 3.7 million people were denied medical care last year due to attacks or blockages against medical teams, and 1.6 billion people on Earth live in conflict zones with restricted access to medical services, the film delivers a powerful message that when aid is stopped, only solidarity can move it forward.
