OkayStudio updates production leadership team
OkayStudio welcomes Sydney Levy as Senior Producer and promotes Athene Aristocleous to Executive Producer.
OkayStudio has announced two significant moves in its production leadership team: Sydney Levy joins from Electric Theatre Collective as Senior Producer, while Athene Xenia Aristocleous has been promoted to Executive Producer.
After nearly five years at Electric Theatre Collective, Levy joins OkayStudio as Senior Producer, further cementing the studio’s reputation as a hub for creative craft, innovation, and storytelling.
“I’m really excited to be joining the team at OkayStudio. I’ve admired the studio for some time, so this is a brilliant opportunity to collaborate with such a talented group of artists and producers. I’m looking forward to working with new voices, bringing fresh creative energy to the projects ahead and sculpting the next chapter for Okay,” comments the producer in Kinsale.
Throughout her career, Levy oversaw high-profile campaigns for brands such as Netflix, Tesco and British Gas, working with some of the most sought-after directors in the industry, including Megaforce (RiffRaff), Alaska (Iconoclast) and Si&Ad (Caviar). Levy has developed a reputation for creative excellence and seamless project management, and her arrival strengthens OkayStudio’s ambition to always deliver first-rate work for its clients.
Aristocleous’ promotion to Executive Producer is a recognition of her outstanding contributions since joining OkayStudio after spending nearly five years honing her craft in the London office of the legacy VFX studio Glassworks. Over the past three years, she has played a pivotal role in nurturing client relationships, steering complex projects to success, and helping to define the studio’s culture of collaboration and craft. From OkayStudio’s recent global campaign for Kia with RadicalMedia and JBL’s Mystical Magical World with Mayda Collective, to culturally-resonant projects such as Wolf Alice’s The Sofa and Amelia Dimoldenberg’s YouTube show Chicken Shop Date, Aristocleous has been instrumental in shaping not only the success of each campaign but also the collaborative atmosphere behind the scenes.
“Since joining OkayStudio, I’ve really fallen in love with the style and passion of our artists, there’s something beautiful about watching them craft a story alongside directors, DOPs and clients. So I’m super excited to be stepping into the role of Executive Producer. The Okay team is brilliant, and I can’t wait to see what the next year brings. Having Sydney on board just makes it all the more exciting!” Says the newly-appointed Executive Producer.
OkayStudio’s managing director David Thomas commented: “I’ve admired Sydney as a producer for a while now and her reputation in the industry is unparalleled, so it’s great to have her join the team at Okay. She brings a fresh perspective and energy that will strengthen what we do here. Athene has been central to our growth since her day one, and she’s proven herself as a driving force in production. They will be unstoppable and an exciting step forward for the studio, our artists and our clients.”
Together, Aristocleous and Levy represent a blend of homegrown leadership and fresh perspective, marking an expansion for OkayStudio as it continues to enrich its roster and capabilities.
