Created in collaboration with artist/graphic designer Julia Schimautz, who runs the Berlin-based DTAN Studio, the promo features animation by Gaussian Studio and displays the singer/songwriter’s customarily haunting words blended with scratchy, textured imagery redolent of traditional printmaking.

The film also uses repurposed live footage from recent Pulp shows and frontman Jarvis Cocker’s iconic silhouette cavorting about. "I love this video,” he says, “it’s like digital Fuzzy Felt.”

Taken from the band’s UK No.1 comeback album More, which was released this week, Tina boasts string-driven yearning melodies as it relates a slightly worrying tale of obsession: “Tonight I have been thinking about scenes from a marriage that never took place… Screwing in a charity shop, on top of black bin bags full of donations that smell of digestive biscuits.”

Cocker admits, “you should feel like you need a shower after listening to it.”
