Directed by Marc Sidelsky through Knucklehead, Arsenal FC’s Christmas ad is a disarmingly cute tale following the adventures of a young lad on a school trip who ends up accidentally locked in the Emirates stadium overnight.
But the nightmare quickly turns into a dream come true as the nipper sets about enjoying all that the stadium has to offer, from the press conference room to the goodie-packed Armoury shop. He even gets to score a goal on the pitch and has a chance meeting with his favourite player.
Created in-house, the spot is beautifully soundtracked by Amy Winehouse’s cover of Our Day Will Come a 1962 R&B song by Ruby & The Romantics.
This is Sidelsky’s third spot for the North London team, with previous work including last year's award-winning campaign The Arsenal Faithful.
