Saulo Rocha joins TBWA\Media Arts Lab
Joining as Executive Creative Director at its Los Angeles office, Rocha will report directly to Global Chief Creative Officer Brent Anderson.
TBWA\Media Arts Lab, the bespoke global creative agency for Apple, announced the appointment of Saulo Rocha as Executive Creative Director at its Los Angeles office.
Rocha will report directly to Brent Anderson, Global Chief Creative Officer.
“Saulo joins an incredible creative leadership bench in Los Angeles that is firing on all cylinders. He brings that same level of ambition, vision, experience, and creative chops to TBWA\Media Arts Lab,” said Anderson. “Over the years, Saulo has built a rare and remarkable body of envy-inducing work for major brands, spanning film, film craft, activation, social, direct, ambient, and everything in between. Saulo has the proven ability to recognise, shape, nurture, and execute simple yet impactful ideas. I cannot wait to see how he helps us take the Apple brand forward.”
A Brazilian-born creative leader, Rocha brings more than 17 years of international experience across Latin America, Europe, and North America. His career includes leadership roles at renowned agencies such as LOLA MullenLowe, where he was Creative Director, and DAVID Madrid, where he was a founding executive creative director at its launch in 2019, and ultimately advanced to Chief Creative Officer in 2022.
Rocha’s creative achievements have earned global recognition: Forbes Spain named him among its Top 100 Creatives for three consecutive years (2023, 2024, and 2025); Cannes Lions ranked him the #4 Creative Director worldwide in 2021; and Adweek included him in its Creative 100 the same year.
He has developed award-winning campaigns for brands including Burger King, Netflix, Coca-Cola, Milka, Halls, Dole, Twitter, Danone, Dove, Activision, and Corona. His work has been honoured with more than 500 international awards, including 72 Cannes Lions, two Titanium Lions, and five Grand Prix awards.
Speaking about his new role, Rocha said: “For as long as I can remember, Apple has been the benchmark, not just in technology, but in the way ideas are brought to life. The work from Media Arts Lab has always been a source of admiration (and, honestly, a bit of envy) for its craft, its bravery, and its consistency in raising the bar for all of us. To now be on this side feels both humbling and thrilling. Los Angeles breathes creativity in every corner, and I can’t wait to roll up my sleeves with the team here to create work that celebrates and expands Apple’s unique vision.”
