Specsavers has launched a new comedic spot featuring none other than Canadian icon Col. Chris Hadfield. 

The spot, directed by James Haworth through Circle Productions, delivers a lighthearted look at the everyday challenges our eyes face, with a cosmic twist.

The commercial cleverly juxtaposes the legendary astronaut’s experiences in space with the more down-to-earth struggles of daily vision. From squinting at fine print to coping with glare, Hadfield wittily compares these moments to the challenges he endured beyond Earth’s atmosphere. With tongue-in-cheek puns and sharp comedic timing, the film highlights the importance of looking after your eyesight while making audiences laugh along the way.
