Supercell and Uncommon Stockholm has launched a curious initiative for the mobile game Clash Royale that doubles as a call out to organ donors.
Blending dry as a bone black comedy with advocacy, the spot was directed by Harold Einstein through Packer Productions and stars William H. Macy as a pathologist/crazy general who is sorting through corpses down at the morgue accompanied by bony solders. His mission is to rally support for both the game’s Skeleton Army and real-world organ donation, in collaboration with the UK’s NHS.
Clash Royale is one of the world’s most popular mobile games, and this campaign taps into that sizeable reach with life-saving potential.
