Advertisers complain. And yes, we’re really good at it.

Deadlines, budgets, endless meetings, last-minute changes, vague briefs, and even vaguer decisions, we complain about it all. It’s practically a professional skill.

But here’s the twist: the very things we complain about, we often end up doing to others, our colleagues, our clients, our teams. Maybe without realising it, maybe because that’s just how the industry works. Either way… it’s kind of funny when you think about it.

At The Newtons Laboratory, we decided to hold up the mirror and laugh at ourselves, before anyone else does. That’s why we created a new video, where we play the starring roles. No actors. Just us, in full-on self-aware mode, playing some surprisingly lovable assholes.

The video is a humorous take on the contradictions of agency life, a world where everyone’s always right, always stressed, and always one coffee away from a meltdown.

Because if we can’t laugh at ourselves, what’s the point?
