Created by Uncommon and director by Olivia De Camps through SMUGGLER, this darkly humorous, sharply observed film for no-nonsense skincare brand The Ordinary, titled The Periodic Fable, highlights the absurdity of these obsessions and rituals.
Set under harsh fluorescent lights, the dystopian classroom scene is filled with eerie chanting and clinical precision as students peel, distort and freeze their faces, until one finally stands up to see the truth.
