Director Eoin Glaister brings his playful style and grotesque prosthetics to this comedic music video for Swedish rock band Viagra Boys’ track, The Bog Body.
Produced by Stink, the madcap promo sees band member Sebastian Murphy falling head over heels for a decomposing woman's body, which is brought back to life by radioactive sludge after being preserved in a bog.
In just under four slightly nauseating, action-packed minutes, Murphy brings his zombie babe along to his usual hangout spots with the band before his unfortunate demise.
Speaking about the music video, director Eoin Glaister says: “I love bog bodies. I’m obsessed. Thank GOD someone finally wrote a song about one. Dream gig really, got to spend the day in the pub with my mates watching a Bog Lady dance to one of my favourite bands. Mammoth effort from an extraordinarily talented bunch. Up the Bog!”
