This trilogy of spots for Aldi, directed by Brian Billow through O Positive, addresses consumers' worries that the festive season will further stretch their already limited finances. 

The store presents itself 'the holiday unlocker', with the message that starting your festive shopping there could literally save the season. Using humour to deliver these tidings, the campaign introduces a hilariously accident-prone Father Christmas who, in two spots, seems unable to cope with the usual chimney arrival procedure – finding himself slipping off a roof or setting his pants on fire

The third ad contains another accident, this time it's the less disastrous occurrence of a party that comes about at a household that had set out to have low-key festivities. However on discovering ALDI's reasonably priced luxury festive fare they end up throwing a big old party.
