Created inhouse, Fiverr’s latest brand campaign explores the latest AI craze, ‘vibe coding’, which lets people without traditional coding skills build an app or website.
In A No-code Love Story, the hero film directed by Grayson Whitehurst through Left/USA, spoofs the 80s power ballad Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now with the perky pear rejoicing in an aspiring innovator’s vibe coding project – an app that finally reveals when an avocado is ripe.
It’s all going pear-fectly well until the avocado is squashed when the AI-generated app crashes, leaving its creator with a messy unfixeable snag.
The point of the story is that AI tools work better when humans are guiding them and promotes Fiverr’s expanded vibe coding services. These allow businesses or solopreneurs without coding experience to turn their big ideas into fully functioning products with the help of expert freelancers.
