Brought to life by director Jonathan Bregel, this poignant and impactful documentary offers a delicate and emotive glimpse into Selah, the world’s only therapeutic grief carefarm based in Sedona, Arizona.
It follows Erik, a father who recently lost his three children to murder, as he rebuilds his life with his partner Shiloe and their baby daughter, Josie, in a place designed to honour grief instead of rush it.
Shot with just a three-person crew to prioritise presence and intimacy over production, the film takes place over the course of a four-day intensive grief workshop at the farm, sensitively weaving together interviews and cinematic, reflective shots.
Bregel is currently crowdfunding to finish postproduction on the documentary and get the film in front of the people who need it most.
