Photoplay Director Michael Gupta has crafted this gentle and reflective music video for Aussie band Winter Swim’s new track, Exchange.
Perfectly complimenting the song’s meditative and dreamy qualities, the warm and cinematic vignettes, shot on 35mm film, quietly capture the intertwined connections between real people and the everyday spaces they share together.
Director Gupta added: “For my latest collaboration with Winter Swim I was interested in creating something stripped back, focusing on intimate, honest portraits of people."
“The simplicity and vulnerability of it was something I connected with deeply. I’m endlessly fascinated by faces and the way we hold stories in our bodies. For me, there’s something so human in simply looking at someone who is willing to look back at you.”
