Swiss retail chain Migros has unveiled this touching Christmas spot, Finn and his Papa, created by Stories AG for Migros with Agency Wirz Werbung AG and directed by Kyra Buschor and Constantin Paeplow through Passion Animation Studios.
The film, which is the fifth in Passion’s seasonal series for Migros, sees the return of supermarket-dwelling character Finn and his family, realised in a thoughtful blend of tactile CG and live action.
The story begins with Finn as a baby with his father, follows through the awkward teenage years, all the way to welcoming a tiny addition to his own family with Finn becoming a dad himself, aptly set to Cat Steven’s Father and Son.
Directors Kyra & Constantin of PASSION Animation say “It’s an honour to once again be trusted with this essential part of Christmas. We know audiences have grown to love Finn and his family, it was a pleasure to tell another emotional chapter in their story.
